Mystery Box pickups are 100% Australian-made passive humbuckers, individually custom wound and built to high standards. No two are exactly the same. Each has its own tonal character, response, output, and feel.

The "mystery" is in the tonal character — not in the quality, construction, or suitability of the finished pickup.

No two the same

Mystery Box pickups are designed for players who want something beyond a standard production specification. Differences in winding and response mean that each one has its own personality.

Some may offer a powerful, focused midrange. Others may deliver a more open top end, sharper attack, or especially dynamic response.
